Grants at a Glance
This grant funds projects and services that enhance the social well-being of individuals and families through promotion or intervention strategies provided at the earliest opportunity.

The Town of Peace River recognizes the valuable contributions made by community organizations and volunteer groups to improve the well-being of the community and quality of life for residents. In recognition of these contributions, the Town is committed to providing assistance to such organizations through its municipal grant program.
Support is provided each year from the Town's operating budget to qualifying organizations through an established application process.
Who should apply?
Any group or organization that is looking to positively improve the community of Peace River.
This grant is being administered to encourage the revitalization of Downtown by providing a grant to landowners who construct new mixed-use development, multi-family residential development, or commercial development in downtown or who renovate existing mixed-use, multi-family residential, or commercial development in downtown Peace River.
Who should apply?
Businesses or homeowners in the downtown area who have completed renovations or new builds.
The Business Grants Program provides financial assistance through grants designed to stimulate business development, building activity, and continued local employment. The program encourages reinvestment in buildings and property throughout the Town, including security updates, and the development and expansion of tourism-based products and services.
This program carries two streams
- Business Revitalization Grant
- Tourism Enhancement Grant
