NEW 2024 Pilot Project
There will be two large bins where residents can place large items that are more than 200lbs or larger than 2 metres in length, i.e. those items that will not be picked up as a part of the curbside clean up collection.
The Large Item Drop Off Bins will be in the Centennial Parking lot (9816 101 Street). The Large Item Drop Off Bins will be accessible from 9 am to 5 pm during curbside clean up collection dates - September 17 to 20.
- The Large Item Drop Off Bins will be monitored. Any unacceptable items will be turned away.
- Do not drop off large items near the bins when they are closed.
- Do not contaminate the Large Item Drop Off Bins with garbage or yard waste.
- Do not contaminate the Yard Wast Bins with Large Item Drop Off.
The outcome or success of the Large Item Drop Off Bins will determine if this is a service the Town is able to offer to residents in future years. Large Item Drop Off Bins are being placed by the Town's service provider (GFL) at no extra cost to the Town or residents.
