Connect with a member of Town Council diretly.  

As the sole employee of Council, the Chief Administrative Officer presented to Council a series of goals to be executed upon, during a public Council Meeting. That Letter of Mandate was approved by Council, and can be viewed below.

CAO Mandate — April 2024-October 2025

The Council meeting schedule is set annually at the Organizational meeting of Council in October.

Typically, Regular Meetings of Town Council take place on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, and working policy meetings, called Governance and Priorities meetings, meet on the first Monday of each month. However, some months, such as July and August, have slightly different meeting frequencies.

All meetings are open to the public and commence at 5:00 pm in Council Chambers unless otherwise noted.

You can submit an invitation request to ask the Mayor and Council to attend your event. The Mayor and Council carefully consider every invitation and strive to accommodate as many event requests as possible.

Please submit an event invitation request form to us at least three weeks before the event. The Mayor and Councillors’ response will depend on their availability and the type of event.

If you would like to request to make a presentation to Council, please complete and submit the form located on this page or contact Legislative Services at 780-624-2574 ext. 1010 to discuss scheduling of your presentation.

Pleases note:

• Presentations are scheduled on a first come first served basis.
• Council respectfully requests that presenters keep their presentations to a maximum of 15 minutes.
• Any materials provided will be included in the public council agenda and must be received one week prior to the scheduled presentation date.
• All meetings are live streamed on our YouTube channel.
