Log Cabin: 10006 96 Ave, Peace River
The log cabin at 10006 96 Ave requires extensive repairs, including a new roof. Given the high costs and the fact that it's not a primary facility, the Town of Peace River Council decided to sell the building through a public bid process in 2025.
The site will be redeveloped into a green space, including picnic tables and benches. This work will be initiated following the removal of the structure in fall 2025.

Pocket Park: 9905 100st
The lots located beside the Town office are private property. The Town situated a “temporary” pocket park more than 10 years ago to assist in beautification of the downtown. The lots have recently changed ownership and the new owners are planning to develop the property.
Therefore, the Town will be removing the site furniture and will repurpose the items at the new park site at 10006 96 Ave, previous location of the log cabin.
The site furniture will be removed in the spring of 2025.
