NOTICE OF BYLAW AMENDMENTS
BYLAW TO AMEND THE TOWN OF PEACE RIVER LAND USE BYLAW NO. 1891
Pursuant to Section 606 and 692 of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Peace River will hold a second Public Hearing before considering second reading of Bylaw No. 2131 to amend the Town of Peace River Land Use Bylaw No. 1891.
Bylaw No. 2131 redistricts the development lands 7513 100 Ave and 7601 100 Ave (Plan 3115HW, Lot 11 and Plan 3115HW, Lot 10) from the Highway Commercial (C-2) District to the Direct Control District for the purpose of development a 67-unit apartment building and four commercial buildings with up to seventeen commercial units. Based on a Traffic Impact Assessment, changes to the existing road network are proposed to safely manage the additional traffic that will be generated by this development.
The Council of the Town of Peace River has given first reading to Bylaw No. 2131 and will hold a public hearing as follows:
