The Town of Peace River Community Services Department is accepting applications for one (1) temporary, full time Labourer position for the Summer of 2026. This position will work as part of a team responsible for maintaining outdoor facilities and sports fields.
Applicants shall possess the following:
• Experience in general laborer duties.
• Experience with small hand and mechanical power tools.
• Experience with light mechanical equipment.
• Valid Class 5 Operator’s permit
• Standard First Aid/CPR certificate or willingness to obtain.
• WHMIS certification or willingness to obtain.
• Criminal Record Check.

This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 898 and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Will include a rotating weekend split shift.
May require additional hours including evenings and weekends.
Wage: $25.33 per hour
Term: ASAP to August 21, 2026
