Got experience and interest in community safety?
Our Peace River Policing Committee is now getting established, and we need members!
This committee will work with Council, Administration, and the RCMP to help set local policing priorities, represent community concerns, and support the development of community safety plans.
We’re seeking Peace River residents (18+) with an interest in community safety, governance, or local issues who can work collaboratively and bring a fair, community-minded perspective. Members must pass an enhanced criminal record check and cannot be Town employees, RCMP members, or other peace officers.
The committee will meet quarterly at minimum, with terms of up to 2-3 years. Participation is voluntary. Required checks, travel, and training costs are covered.
