Snow Clearing Update: Saddleback on Thursday, Dec. 18

Crews will be continuing to focus on clearing and removing snow in Saddleback tomorrow (Thursday, Dec. 18).

If you live in this area, please move parked vehicles off the street where possible to help crews work safely and efficiently.

As work continues across the community, some windrows may temporarily remain in driving lanes. These will be addressed as capacity allows.

With the amount of snow we’ve received, residents are encouraged to clear snow from their roofs where it’s safe to do so, especially around furnace, dryer, and other exhaust vents. Blocked vents can cause carbon monoxide to build up inside a home. Roof clearing is the responsibility of property owners, but we wanted to share the reminder given current conditions.

Also, we know this snowfall has been challenging for drivers and residents. A reminder that Town administrative staff answering the phone are not the decision-makers for snow operations. They’re there to help pass along information and keep things moving. Everyone involved, from Public Works to administrative staff to contractors, is working hard to manage an exceptional amount of snow.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
