Following the weekend snowfall, crews were focusing today on maintaining Priority 1 routes while continuing scheduled work in the North End, progressing through remaining sections.
Next, we'll be addressing facility parking lots and 106 Street in Saddleback to accommodate a request from the school division.
Once work in the North End is complete, crews will begin moving into areas on the West Hill. Timing will depend on conditions and progress on priority routes.
Speaking of snow, our area has seen roughly 30-55cm of snow in December so far (exact numbers are difficult to track, so some of this is based on Environment and Climate Change Canada modelling). The average for the whole month is about 24-25cm. The forecast indicates more is coming.
We've got a lot of equipment and people working out there. Today's operations included three removal crews, two graders, a plow truck, and 16 haulers, with approximately 30 operators working across the system.

We’ll continue to share updates as operations progress.
