Want to get involved in the Town of Peace River municipal election? Election workers help with the voting process and vote counting. All positions are paid, and training is provided.
There are various shifts and positions available. Please see below for more information and to apply. Please ensure to read the shift and position descriptions as they will help you when filling in your application.
Shifts & Positions
We have various position types and shift times available, allowing you to indicate on your application the role that best suits your strengths and personality! And a time that fits into your schedule. While we cannot guarantee you will be assigned the position you want, we will do our best to accommodate and make your experience working the election the best it can be!
Eligibility & Rate of Pay
You are eligible to be an election worker if you are:
- Eligible to work in Canada, and
- 18 years of age or older.
Note: You do not have to be a Canadian citizen to apply.
Election workers will be compensated at a rate of $24/hour and will be provided with T4A slips.
