Join the Regional Assessment Review Board!
We’re looking for Peace River residents to join the Regional Assessment Review Board, a group that hears appeals about property assessments.
If you've ever thought "that can’t be right" when you opened your tax notice, this is the board that helps residents challenge those numbers fairly.
✅ Training is provided (September course, mornings for one week)
💼 Three-year term
💰 Paid per hearing, as set in our Fees & Charges Bylaw
📍 Not a full-time commitment. Members are called upon when appeals arise, and not everyone sits on every hearing
Whether you're new or a past member interested in retraining, we'd love to hear from you. The Town covers registration costs for training. The sooner you register, the better, as training is coming up in September.
