We were thrilled to welcome Kira Young through Peace River yesterday as she continues her incredible ride in support of Cassie + Friends Society!
Kira’s ride is helping raise awareness and support for children and families affected by juvenile arthritis and other rheumatic diseases, while also highlighting the long distances many northern and rural families travel to access care.
Mayor and Council, Town staff, members of the Peace River Fire Department, emergency medical services, and more were glad to cheer Kira on, learn about her journey, and wish her well as she continues south to High Prairie today.
