A large amount of drainage from St. Germaine Creek and rapid snowmelt from today’s warm weather is flowing down 80 Street.
The intersection at 80 Street and 120 Avenue is experiencing overland water flow, as culverts are unable to keep up. The road may become difficult to drive or impassable overnight due to fast-moving water.
Residents of the Westbrook subdivision should expect delays in the morning and may need to make alternative arrangements if there are road closures.
Public Works crews will assess the road early Tuesday morning and attempt repairs as needed, but temporary closures may be necessary.
