The Town of Peace River is participating as a regional partner in the Peace Regional Readiness and Planning Project, alongside Northern Sunrise County and Lac Cardinal Economic Development.
The project has received $250,000 in funding to support labour market analysis, stakeholder engagement, workforce forecasting, and the development of a regional workforce strategy for the Peace Region.
This work will help better understand current and future workforce needs, including labour shortages, attraction and retention, skilled trades, youth retention, and future economic opportunities.
