The Town of Peace River and the Peace River Museum, Archives, and Mackenzie Centre would like to extend our thanks to three local heroes!
On February 22,2024, a small fire started on the platform of the historic NAR station. The quick action of these heroes saved the building and kept the damage to a minimum.
Thank you so much to Jaimie Gaudreau, Randilee Fisher and a third good Samaritan whose name was missed in the commotion! These three stopped to call Emergency Services and put out the flames before they had a chance to spread. This situation could have ended very badly, and we want to also extend our sincerest thank-you to the Peace River Fire Department and RCMP for their response.
