Dec. 10 update: We still have a little to finish in Shaftesbury, but with it being garbage day there, we're working on the South end today and will be returning to finish off Shaftesbury once that's done.
Snow clearing update!
Our Public Works team is wrapping up Priority 2 snow clearing routes today and moving into Priority 3 routes, which include residential areas.
This afternoon, we’ll be in the Shaftesbury area training some of our new team members on snow-clearing equipment.
While we’re not doing full snow removal (as it didn’t reach the threshold outlined in our policy), we may still need to remove small amounts of snow as needed.
What’s next:
- Tuesday, Dec. 10: We’ll be working in the neighbourhoods south of the Heart River between 8am and 5pm.
- Once finished, we plan to move to Lower West Peace. Tentatively, we’re aiming for Wednesday, Dec. 11. We’ll confirm the schedule and send out another update beforehand.

Thank you for your patience as we work to keep the roads safe and accessible!
