Town Council and administration were pleased to attend the Normand Boucher Community Arboretum celebration last Thursday!
We are tremendously grateful to the Arboretum Revitalization Initiative and Peace River Rotaract for the work they have put into restoring and refreshing this community space.
When the group first came to the Town with their vision, we worked together on a Memorandum of Understanding to support the revitalization project. Since then, their efforts have led to beautiful improvements throughout the site, including refreshed signage, updated tree tags, and renewed educational information that helps visitors learn more about the trees and natural features in the park.
It is wonderful to see this space receive the care and attention it deserves.
The Arboretum is a Town-owned and operated park, and residents are encouraged to use it, whether that means walking through the park, exploring the educational signage, bringing students for outdoor learning, or booking the gazebo for a private event. The space is especially well suited for weddings, photos, school visits, and small gatherings.
Bookings for the Arboretum can be made through the Baytex Energy Centre.
Thank you again to the Arboretum Revitalization Initiative and Peace River Rotaract for your work in updating this space!
