Register to vote before election day!
A new rule for the 2025 municipal election means municipalities must now prepare a permanent Electors Register of eligible voters.
Registering to vote in advance of the election will save you time. If your name is not on the register when you arrive to vote, you will need to complete a form at the voting station before casting your ballot.
You can register to vote or check your registration status through Voterlink, the Province’s voter registration platform. This system helps create the permanent Electors Register that municipalities will use on election day.
