NOTICE OF BYLAW AMENDMENTS
BYLAW TO AMEND THE TOWN OF PEACE RIVER LAND USE BYLAW NO. 1891
Pursuant to Section 606 and 692 of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Peace River will hold a Public Hearing before considering second reading of Bylaw No. 2168 to amend the Town of Peace River Land Use Bylaw No. 1891.
Bylaw No. 2168 will amend the Land Use Bylaw for the purpose of allowing a doggy day care business to operate within the Primary Commercial District (C-1) district. The amendment adds “Domestic Animal Care Services” as a use in the land use bylaw and allows that use in eight land use districts (Figure 1).
The Council of the Town of Peace River has given first reading to Bylaw No. 2168 and will hold a public hearing as follows:

The proposed bylaw and related documents may be viewed at the Town Office during normal office hours or on the Town website at www.peaceriver.ca/news.
