We are terribly disappointed to say this, but out of an abundance of caution, 2025 Paddle the Peace is cancelled.
This decision wasn't made lightly, and we consulted with our municipal partners, volunteers, experienced paddlers, and more. Ultimately, the risk of thunderstorms is too high to have 100 people out on the river tomorrow.
As it is late in the year already, we are unable to reschedule the event, so we'll be looking forward to next year.
All registered participants will receive a full refund from the Town of Peace River in the coming weeks.
We appreciate your understanding and support. We're bummed about it, but we have to be safe. Hopefully we can all come together on a sunny day next year.
