Pursuant to Section 606 of the Municipal Government Act, being Chapter M-26 of the Statutes of Alberta, notice is hereby given that the Council of the Town of Peace River will hold a Public Hearing before the second reading of Bylaw No. 2163 to amend the Town of Peace River Land Use Bylaw.

Bylaw No. 2163 amends the Town of Peace River Land Use Bylaw No. 1891 for the purposes of adding “indoor participant recreation services” as a discretionary use, to the light industrial (M-1) district and mixed industrial-business (M-1B) district. The Town has received an application to amend the Land Use Bylaw for the purpose of allowing a gym at 8102 102 Ave, in the industrial area on the west hill.
The Council of the Town of Peace River has given first reading to Bylaw No. 2163 and will hold a public hearing as follows:
