Nominations are now open for the 2025 municipal election!
If you’re interested in running for office in the Town of Peace River, you have from now until noon September 22 to submit your nomination papers.
What you’ll need:
- A completed nomination form (pick it up at the Town Office or download it from our website)
- Signatures from at least 5 eligible voters
- A $50 deposit
- A criminal record check (dated within the last 6 months)
- A completed Form 5 – Candidate Financial Information
File your papers with the Returning Officer at the Town Office, 9911-100 Street, Peace River.
Papers must be filed in person by noon on September 22, 2025.
