Please note the adjusted schedule for garbage and recycling collection during the holiday season:
- Week of Dec. 23–27
Monday, Dec. 23, 2024: Garbage (Westbank & Downtown)
Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2024: Garbage (North & South End)
Friday, Dec. 27, 2024: Recycling
- Week of Dec. 31–Jan. 3
Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024: Garbage (Westbank & Downtown)
Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025: No Collection
Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025: Garbage (North & South End)
Friday, Jan. 3, 2025: Recycling
- Christmas Tree Disposal
Thursday, Jan. 2, 2025: Drop off your Christmas tree at the bin in Centennial Parking Lot (9802 101 Street).
Friday, Jan. 17, 2025: Bin pick-up. After this date, you can still dispose of your tree for free at the landfill.
Note that 'Westbank' means everything on the west side of the river, including Shaftesbury, Saddleback, West hill, etc.
