Health Centre Renamed After $3-Million Gift

Today, the Peace River Community Health Centre was officially renamed the Marshall Eliuk Peace River Community Health Centre, in recognition of a $3-million gift from former local businessman and philanthropist Marshall Eliuk, as well as an additional $100,000 donation that will name the atrium in his honour.
 
Mayor Shelly Shannon was on hand to provide remarks and to thank Mr. Eliuk and the Peace River & District Health Foundation for their tremendous work.
 
This is a remarkable investment in the future of healthcare in our region.
