Becoming a parent is exciting! And it can also be pretty scary and confusing.
Whether you're a current parent or expecting one, we want you to know you're not alone.
The Peace Region Family Resource Network (PRFRN) is here for families from pregnancy through age 18. The FRN is a provincially funded program run by the Town of Peace River, working with trusted local partners to support families across the region.
Think of the FRN as your first call, connecting you with play programs, parenting workshops, in-home support, youth outreach, and more.
The FRN operates on a ‘hub and spoke’ model, which provides one friendly point of contact in Peace River, with partner programs reaching out into communities big and small. From Manning to Nampa, Red Earth Creek to Cleardale, our staff and programs travel to meet families where they are, in person and online.
Nothing is too small or off-topic. Whether it’s a question about your child’s development, help navigating stress, or finding the right program, the FRN is the place to start. If we can’t provide the service directly, we’ll connect you with someone who can.
So next time that parenting stress hits, call us! We look forward to hearing from you and supporting you on this adventure.
