Fall Clean Up returns September 28 to October 2, 2026.
Ahead of Fall Clean Up is the return of Put-n-Take weekend. Starting on Friday, September 25, residents can place items they want to get rid of directly along the curb of their property and mark them as FREE. Only items placed along the curb and clearly marked should be considered as part of put-n-take weekend.
Prairie Disposal will begin picking up items for Fall Clean Up bright and early on Monday, September 28, 2026 and will continue pick-ups throughout the week. Crews will be gathering various types of waste on different days of the week, so everything needs to be set out bright and early on the morning of September 28. No items may be placed out for pick up after 8 am on Monday.
New this year: no mattresses will be collected, but box springs will be picked up if they are clean and odour-free.
Reminders:
Items with freon, like fridges, freezers and AC units, should be marked as free from refrigerant by an approved technician. Unmarked units will result in a $26 charge on your next utility bill.
No tires, with the exception of those on bicycles
Maximum of two large items per household
All items must fit in a 2m x 4m area on your yard and weigh less than 100 lbs
