Earlier this week, we were treated to a special presentation from Roger Brooks and the Destination Development Association on ways to enhance tourism and economic development in Peace River.
Roger spent a week in town going through every nook, cranny, and road...and somehow, they all seemed to lead to Grimshaw (spoiler: one of his big points was the need for wayfinding signage in Peace River, and if you read our June 23 Council highlights, you'd know we've got a big wayfinding project moving along!)
He gave advice on ways to market Peace River, town branding, how businesses could increase their curb appeal, and how to make downtown the "community living room" instead of the "hole in the doughnut," with the rest of Peace River expanding around it.
