Last night at Town of Peace River Council…
- Randy Arsenault, Executive Director of the Canadian Mental Health Association Alberta Northwest Region, presented about a mobile addictions outreach service in Peace River. More information can be found at www.gpcmha.ca
- Council congratulated Coun. Shelly Shannon on her appointment to the Alberta Municipalities' Economic Strategy Committee for 2024-2025.
- Council appointed Marc Boychuk as Deputy Mayor for the remainder of this Council's term, which ends Fall 2025.
- Council set the schedule for meetings next year and assigned committee roles.
And honestly, there wasn't a lot more than that.
