Canada Day fireworks are scheduled for 11:59pm Monday, June 30, launching from the Lower West Peace Boat Launch.
You'll get a good view of them anywhere in the downtown or in the valley. If you're on the west hill, you might want to swing down for the best viewing locations.
Please avoid the boat launch area itself, as crews will be keeping that area controlled to set off the fireworks.
If you have pets that get frightened by fireworks, remember to take care of them in advance.
