With all this snow, we could use a few Snow Angels like these fine folks!
Over the past snowfalls, volunteers like the ones pictured here have been quietly lending a hand to neighbours who need help clearing their sidewalks.
Snow Angels is a community-based program facilitated by Peace River FCSS. Residents who need assistance can place a Snow Angels sign on their lawn, and when it snows, volunteers can step in to help out when they’re able.
These Snow Angels have been doing incredible work around town, and as a small thank-you, they were gifted with a bit of Snow Angels swag and Tim Hortons gift cards for their kindness.
If you’d like to get a Snow Angels sign for your yard, or volunteer to help when you see a sign in your neighbourhood, please contact Community Services at (780) 624-1000.
It’s a simple way to make winter a little easier for someone else and keep our sidewalks safer for everyone.
Pictured are volunteers Aurora Clark, Xander Hyland, Ashly Kemp, Kaughlee Hyland, Alyssa Kemp, Elijah Kemp, Linkien Clark, Otto Clark, Decklyn Clark, and Janita Wilson.
Thank you to all our Snow Angels out there!
