Activation
The Town of Peace River has opened a Reception Centre for the residents of Red Earth Creek. The centre was opened on May 29, 2025 and will be available for these residents until their reentry date. Services available are outlined below.

Monday (June 16): 9am to 5pm
Tuesday to Friday (June 17-20): 1pm to 5pm
Weekends: Closed
Activities
All drop-in programs that are part of the regular schedule of the Baytex Energy Centre and swimming are free for any Red Earth resident. You will be asked to show ID.

Laundry Services
Evacuees staying at the following hotels can use the laundry services that are available at their hotel:
- Quality Hotel: Laundry service provided by StyleRyte Mon-Fri. They charge per lb and the fee can be added to the hotel bill.
- PVI: Laundry service provided by StyleRyte Mon-Fri. They charge per lb and the fee can be added to the hotel bill.
- Best Western: Self-serve laundry $4 wash $4 dry needs loonies.
- Western Budget: Self-Serve laundry $2.50 wash $2.50 dry needs loonies and quarters.
- Chateau Nova: Self-Serve laundry $2 wash $2.50 dry needs loonies and quarters.
- High Point: Self-Serve laundry $3 wash $2 dry needs loonies.
