UPDATE (April 28 5:30pm): 911 services in Northwestern Alberta are now operational through partner 911 agencies. Telus continues to investigate the outage. The critical alert has been downgraded to an advisory.

 
Actions to take:
- If you have an emergency, dial 911.

911 Phone services are not working in Northern Alberta. 

GP911 is experiencing technical difficulties receiving 911 calls. The cause of the outage is unknown, and Telus is investigating. This outage affects the ability to call 911 on both cellphone and landlines. Residents in the affected area may not be able get through when dialing 911. 

Please stay on the line if you receive a recording message. If your call disconnects, please try again. In the case of an emergency, go to your local emergency services (RCMP, EMS, Fire Station) building to report it. Staff there will be able to assist you.
