Review Process:

  1. Submit the Business Directory and Licence Application
  2. Staff review the application to determine if a business licence is required, is already in place, or if the business is exempt.

Per the Business Licence Bylaw, most businesses that operate in town require a business license. Find out more on the business licences page. A licence is issued once fees are collected and any other approvals are completed. The business licence will be issued if the business meets regulatory requirements. If the business does not meet regulatory requirements, staff will work with the business to bring them into compliance.
  3. Staff issue a business licence (if required).
  4. Staff add the business to the Directory.
